How can I open Sonect?
You can find the Sonect application in the TWINT+ tile and it is called “Withdraw cash”.
How is the limit calculated?
You have a monthly limit of CHF 1000 with Sonect. In addition, the limits on TWINT itself are also applied.
I have closed my browser. How can I find my barcode?
Just go back to the TWINT App and start the Sonect application again. If you already have an active withdrawal request, it will be displayed on the Sonect dashboard.
How can I find a shop?
If you have location active in your browser settings, you will see a list of possible stores near you directly on the Sonect Dashboard. Alternatively, you can use the “Map” function to find out about other stores throughout Switzerland.
How much time do I have to confirm a payment in TWINT?
Once a purchase request (barcode) has been created, you have 15 minutes until the request expires. Within this time, you again have 3 minutes to authorize the payment in TWINT.
Why is there a QR code and a barcode?
For some shops, scanning a QR code works better. So if you ever have trouble getting the barcode to scan, try the QR code.
Sonect shows me that my session has expired?
Return to the TWINT App and start the application again.
How can I cancel an active request?
If you have already created a barcode and therefore a request, you can cancel it at any time using the “trash can” sign. You will not be charged requested amount you want to withdraw or any other fee.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes, you will need an internet connection throughout the cash withdrawal process.
Where can I find my transactions?
In the Sonect App, you can find your transaction history under the “Profile” sign in the upper right corner next to “Welcome to Sonect”.
Will I receive a receipt for my transaction?
In the TWINT App under “movements” you will find the overview of all your transactions.
I already have a Sonect account, what do I have to do?
If you already use our Sonect App, you can now also use Sonect via the TWINT App. Sonect in TWINT and Sonect App are independent of each other.
How can I use TWINT in the Sonect App?
The Sonect App is not linked to TWINT. Therefore, TWINT cannot be used as a payment option in the Sonect App.
